Plan to join the Richmond Road Runners Club (RRRC) for the 33rd Annual RRRC Toy Run 5K, presented by Primrose Schools of Richmond and support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program for local children.

The RRRC Toy Run 5K, sponsored by Primrose Schools of Richmond, is proud to once again be the fall Celebratory 5K for Girls on the Run of Greater Richmond. Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grade. GOTR teaches life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime of appreciation of health and fitness.

NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR -- CITY STADIUM
The 5K, which starts and ends at the Richmond City Stadium, is a “lollipop” course that loops through the streets of the Windsor Farms community. The race will be chip-timed by Richmond Road Runners Club. Times will be posted on this website (Results menu tab) and on the RRRC website.
The 5K is a family-friendly event for the whole family.
There will be one (1) water stop on the course. There will be water and other refreshments after the race.
Family Fun Mile Run
The Family Fun Mile Run also is a family-friendly event for the whole family. This is an untimed event.
- Runners and walkers are welcome.
- Runners or walkers with running/jogging strollers or walking strollers are permitted.
- Runners or walkers with a single dog on a leash are permitted.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at the 5K and the Family Fun Mile Run.. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Toy Run 5K and Family Fun Mile Run.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. BE ALERT, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC & PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS, COURSE MARSHALS, AND POLICE.
Runners or walkers must be 5 years old or older to participate in the 5K road race.

Family Fun Mile Run is Free -- but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. We do ask you to consider bringing a new, unwrapped toy to donate.
Any discounts will be applied at check out.
All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. Bib numbers are not transferrable. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.
Race check-in (bib number/chip pick up and toy drop-off) is available Saturday, December 8, at Lucky Road Run Shop, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive, Richmond, VA from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM.
On race day, check-in (bib number/chip pick up and toy drop-off) begins at 11:00 AM at City Stadium.
On-site registration (payment by credit card or by toy donation only -- no cash or checks accepted) will be available at check-in on Saturday and on race day.
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fundraising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
