Description
We are pleased to bring back our 6th Annual 5k and Kid's 1-Miler, but with a new NAME and purpose!! On Saturday, April 23, 2016, the LiftUp RVA 5k will start at West End Assembly of God, and wind it's way up & down the charming hills of Sleepy Hollow, ending back at West End. This race brings out a pleasant crowd of runners & walkers, young and old. New this year, all the proceeds from this event will go directly to a massive missional effort, LiftUp RVA. This summer, our youth will spend a week doing some awesome service projects here in downtown RVA, and this 5k will help pay for all the supplies for these projects. If you're looking for a fun, uplifting morning for a great run or a charming walk with a great, local purpose, this is the one for you!

LiftUp RVA
All proceeds for this race benefit LiftUp RVA. This summer, between 80-100 kids will spend a week together, sleeping on the floor, eating group meals, and most importanty, serving our awesome city, Richmond. We will work in several areas doing improvement projects for people who need it, with no cost to them! This fundraising 5k will help pay for the supplies for those projects, so your funds will go directly to other Richmonders in need. Together we will Lift Up RVA!!
