24th Annual Irvington Turkey Trot & Animal Food Drive

About This Activity

Please help us raise money to help the dogs and cats in our area by supporting the Animal Welfare League. Volunteers there have been serving the animals of Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond Counties for over 48 years. They have animals ready for adoption that have been neutered, given some training, and are waiting for a home of their own.

Donations of $20, $25, $30, $50 are greatly appreciated! No donation is too small and all will help provide a Thanksgiving meal for them. Remember, the League always has several great pets just waiting to love you.

About This Race

There will be No Race Day Registration

Scenic 2-mile & 5-mile run/walk loop through historic Irvington neighborhoods and suitable for your leashed, furry friends! A “must-do” event for families reuniting for the Thanksgiving holiday in Virginia's Northern Neck. Great community support and you are home by noon to enjoy your well-deserved Thanksgiving feast!

All 2-mile and 5-mile participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last. Sign up early to get your beautiful and unique Race T.

Awards for both the 2-mile and 5-mile races are given to the top three male and female participants overall, and top three male and female participants in age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

There will be a free (no-fee) Tot Trot for the children at the Irvington Commons.  No registration required. Tot Trot participants do not receive a Race T.
