Do It For The Kids Day 5k Run - Walk

Ready...set...go! Run in Lynchburg’s most beautiful park setting!
This event begins and ends within the Peaks View Park grounds, winds through calming trails, and a peaceful river. Family-friendly course setting. Easy out and back, paved trail. Come join us!

REGISTRATION:
5K: $25 (deadline Fri. October 4, 2019) || $30 (Race Day October 5, 2019)
Paper registration is not available for this event.

Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

5K START:
9:00 am

Assisted Participants:
We are pleased to provide an opportunity for assisted participants to enjoy race day. An assisted participant is typically being pushed in a stroller "appropriate" for the event (ie.. hand break, tether, appropriate wheels). Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event. Assisted participants will start prior to the start and be ranked separately from the event. Both the pusher and assisted participant should indicate this classification during the registration process for our planning purposes.

T-SHIRT DEADLINE:
Event t-shirts will be guaranteed to those registered by Friday, September 20, 2019.
T-shirt sizes- Adult sizes: 2XL, XL, L, M, S // Child sizes:  L M, S

PACKET PICKUP:
Packet Pickup is at Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Friday, October 4th, 12:00-6:00 pm. Race Day packet pickup is 7:45-8:30 am at Peaks View Park, Ardmore Drive Entrance

5K AWARDS:
Top Overall M/F, Top Overall Masters M/F, Top Finisher in each age group. Overall awards ranked on "gun" time / Age group results ranked on "chip" time.
*This is a Chip timed event, Disposable MyLaps Race Bib Technology will be used.

AGE GROUPS:
12 & under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up. Age Group ranking based on "chip" time.

COMMUNITY PARTNERS EXPO:
Check out the Community Partners Expo on site, race day!  Our co-host, Power of We Lynchburg, is organizing this fun, family friendly resource for participants and spectators.
