RRRC First Day 5K

Giveaway:

• RRRC Running Socks (S/M and L/XL) for first 450 registered participants. 

Awards (in-person race only):

• There will be awards for top finishers: first place male and female overall; and top masters male and female; and top grand masters male and female
• There will be ribbons for the top three finishers in each age group.
• All awards will be based on chip time.

5K Registration: RRRC members - $15 plus processing fee; non-members - $20 plus processing fee. 

Virtual 5K Registration: RRRC members - $15 plus processing fee; non-members - $20 plus processing fee. 

Kids Run: Registration is free, but there is an option to add on a pair of running socks for $7.

Any discounts will be applied at check out.

Refund Policy: All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. Registrations cannot be deferred to a later race. Bib numbers are not transferrable. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.

The 5K course is fast and flat through the Roxshire neighborhood. You'll have no problem setting your 5K personal best for 2023.

One cup-less water stop will support runners at about mile 2 and mile 2.5 on the course. 

This is a road race conducted under the rules of USATF and RRCA. In consideration of the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed on the course during the race: baby joggers, baby strollers, animals on or off leash, skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the First Day 5K.

Pre-Race Check-In and Bib Pick Up

Friday, December 30 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm @ Lucky Road Run Shop at Willow Lawn Shopping Center

Race Day - Check-in and bib pick up is 9:00 - 10:45 AM inside ACAC Midlothian. 

There is a $5.00 fee for replacing a lost or forgotten bib and chip on race day.
