Come be a part of the fun by volunteering at the 8th annual Heart of Ghent 10K, Maury 5K & Kids Fun Run, on Saturday, September 18, 2021!

The Heart of Ghent 10K rings in the fall season to historic Ghent in Norfolk with a fit, festive, charitable family oriented run/walk through the historic and scenic Ghent neighborhood. With its unique blend of fine restaurants, boutiques, cafes, shopping, professional services, and quiet residential neighborhoods, Norfolk’s Historic Ghent is an ideal location for this great event and is already becoming a “don’t miss” race on the regional running calendar. 

We need many volunteers for this event to be a true success! All volunteers who come out and volunteer at the Heart of Ghent 10k will receive appreciation, and thanks from the Ghent Business Association, the charity partners, all the athletes, an Official T-shirt*, a Goodie Bag*, One Free admission to Post-Race party, and can opt to receive a personalized letter documenting their community service hours.

If you or someone you know (groups welcomed) need community service hours, please consider volunteering for one, or all, of our events.
