A Family Fun Community Day in Gilpin Court!

To celebrate back to school, the Live Red Foundation is partnering with STEP Richmond, Kinfolk Community Garden, and Shood on Saturday, August 10 from 11am-3pm. STEP Richmond will distribute 250 backpacks with school supplies, Shood will distribute 500 pairs of sneakers, and Kinfolk will plant their fall garden. Live Red will grill hotdogs and hamburgers, distribute personal hygiene products, host a teen basketball tournament, teach yoga classes, facilitate tug-of-war games, and offer several other fun activities like a slip-and-slide. Please consider volunteering to make the day a success. We have a high demand for volunteers in many different roles. If you can, commit to an hour of set-up or breakdown or the full 4 hours of the event. The event will be at the Calhoun Community Center in Gilpin Court.
