Runners must be 6 years old or older to participate in this four mile trail race.

Race Fees: 

• $25 plus processing fee for RRRC members
• $30 plus processing fee for non-members
• Runners 6-12 years of age: $5 plus processing fee

Virtual Race Fees:

• $25 plus processing fee for RRRC members
• $30 plus processing fee for non-members through October 3rd
• Runners 6-12 years of age: $5 plus processing fee

Refund Policy: All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable, no exceptions. All entry fees and processing fees are non-transferable. Registrations cannot be deferred to a later race. Bib numbers are non-transferable. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.

The four mile course will begin and end at Stony Point Fashion Park and make its way through Larus Park.

Note: This route is subject to change. If we get a lot of rain, parts of the course may need to change.

This is a trail race. You must be alert for gravel, roots, rocks, tree limbs, mud, ups, downs, turns and any other challenges of trail running.

Please use caution when passing a runner and communicate your intentions as you pass. If you must wear earbuds or headphones, wear only one. This is a hard and fast rule, you need to be able to hear faster runners behind you as well as the occasional mountain biker.

This is the map of the course. Larus Park is a fantastic place, you will not want to miss this one.

Course rules are subject to change at the discretion of the race directors.

WATER and REFRESHMENTS: There will be water at the start/finish of the race. Depending on the temperature that day, there will be at least one water stop on the route. The race will not have any cups. Please bring you own cup or bottle to fill during the race.

In consideration of the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed on the course during the race: headphones, baby joggers, baby strollers, animals on or off leash, skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Larus Four. If you must wear ear buds or headphones, please only wear one.

The race will be timed by the Richmond Road Runners Club. Results will be posted on online on the RRRC website and on this race page (see Results tab).

Giveaway

• Giveaway must be picked up at check-in on race day. Nothing will be mailed.
• Virtual runners can pick up their giveaway in person or choose for it to be mailed.

Awards

• All runners will receive a giveaway item when they pick up their race bib.
• Your finish enters you into the trail series competition.
• If you won your age group and would like a place ribbon, please ask.

Check-in and packet pick-up will be race day only starting at 06:30 AM.

Please arrive early to ensure we begin the race on time.
