RRRC Pony Pasture 5K
Join us for a meaningful summer race that celebrates community, running, and supporting local youth.
Hosted by the Richmond Road Runners Club in memory of Dr. Peter Still, this 5K honors a beloved scholar, runner, and friend while making a difference in young lives.
Your participation directly supports the RRRC Scholarship Fund, providing $3,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who embody the spirit of running and healthy living.
👟 Families welcome. Youth (ages 6–12) receive discounted registration, making this a great event for runners of all ages.
🏅2026 scholarship recipients will be announced following the race.

📦 Packet Pickup: 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Lucky Road Run Shop
Race Day – Saturday, July 25
- 6:15 AM – Packet Pickup Opens
- 7:00 AM – Recommended arrival deadline
- 7:30 AM – Race Start

The Pony Pasture 5K returns to its classic scenic course. The route is clearly marked and supported by volunteers throughout.
Yes. This is a cup-less event. Please bring your own reusable bottle or cup. Water stations will be touchless.
This race is conducted under USATF and RRCA guidelines. Participants are responsible for their own safety and should remain alert to surroundings, including traffic, course marshals, and other runners.
Headphones are strongly discouraged to help maintain a safe race environment.
Yes. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the field and yield to other runners.
For safety reasons, the following are not permitted:
- Pets
- Bicycles
- Skateboards or rollerblades
- Participants must be 6 years or older
- Ages 6–9 must run with a registered parent or guardian

CANCELLATION POLICY
All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. NO EXCEPTIONS. Registrations CANNOT be deferred to the next year. Registrations can only be transferred to another runner via the wait list after the race has sold out. If we catch you transferring a bib to another runner without permission, you will be banned. In the event of postponements, cancellation, format update, event updates, and/or if you are unable to participate for any reason there will be no refunds, transfers (to another race or person), and/or deferrals.
