The course is open to traffic.

Directing runners and keeping them safe along the route are the key responsibilities. Duties include a proper understanding of the course and being able to stop pedestrian and/or vehicular traffic while runners cross. Being confident and being loud (if necessary) is a plus.

You are also a key player in keeping the excitement and momentum going on course. Feel free to act crazy, scream, cheer, laugh — anything to bring out a smile on our runners faces!

MUST WEAR A SAFETY VEST (provided by RRRC at check-in)! Standing for long periods of time is required.

This assignment is outdoors. You need to be prepared for the weather on race day. Bring your own hydration, snacks and sun screen.

Water Stop Coordinator

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Responsible for assisting with check-in of water stop volunteers and for guiding and directing water stop volunteers with setting up and filling cups, distributing water to runners while cheering them on, picking up discarded cups and cleaning up area after all participants have passed.

Standing for long periods of time is required. The water stop is about one mile from the race start/finish area.

This assignment is outdoors. You need to be prepared for the weather on race day. You can bring your own hydration, snacks and sun screen.

Responsible for setting up and filling cups, distributing water to runners while cheering them on, picking up discarded cups and cleaning up area after all participants have passed.

You also are a key player in cheering on and putting a smile on our runners faces!

Responsible for using either your own camera, our SD card, or RRRC's camera to capture photos at registration, start/finish, and along the event course.

Start-Finish Area Support

Finish Line

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Work at the direction of the race director and timer. Assist with timing (manual and/or digital) and set-up/break-down of finish line equipment. Some lifting is required.

You also have a key role in cheering on our runners as they finish their race!

Post-Race Refreshments

Duties include setting up/breaking down the post-race food station, cutting food if necessary, distributing food to event participants upon completion of the race, and making sure spectators are not partaking in the post-race food.

Truck Assistant

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

One of the key volunteers at any race. Assists the driver of the RRRC truck in setting up and taking down the event, from the start/finish line to the cones and water stations along the course. You'll be one of the first volunteers to show up and one of the last to leave.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Walking is required. This assignment is outdoors. You need to be prepared for the weather on race day.
