VCF 2024 Winter Running Training Teams

Virginia Capital Fitness, LLC., 2024 Winter Marathon Training Teams begin on Saturday, December 2, 2023, using Willow Lawn's 38 acres for parking and team gatherings.

With our current USA economic environment, VCF has elected to keep the excellent team participation fee the same as last year.

As RVA's premier Winter Marathon Training Team, VCF has the best resources to make your winter training experience awesome.

VCF offers training covering all the 2024 13.1 and 26.2 spring races. Comprehensive training plans are provided for Shamrock, One City, Sports Backers' inaugural Virginia Credit Union River City Half, and Boston Marathon and will be available for all paid participants. 

If you "just want to run on Saturdays" to stay fit without training for a particular 13.1 or 26.2 race, VCF has just the team for you.

Coach Gray Gurkin will once again lead  VCF's largest growing pace group of 9:30 and above.

VCF selected post-run PT assistance with James River Physical Therapy.

Staffed water stops every 4-miles for all teams.
