Event Description
Join us for the second annual The Breast Run Ever — a fun-filled 5K at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex outdoor trail in Virginia Beach, all in support of the fight against breast cancer! This lighthearted event, happening on October 2nd at 5:00 PM, welcomes participants of all paces — whether you’re running, walking, or strolling with family. Each registration comes with a pink nylon race shirt featuring hand-drawn art.
All finishers will receive custom medals, but the real victory is helping raise funds for breast cancer research — 100% of the race profits will be donated to the Pink Fund supporting this important cause. This event is not only for a great cause, but it’s also proudly organized by two Virginia Beach local college students — so come out, show your support, and make a difference, one step at a time!

This pink retro-style tee features our signature sports bra mascot racing her heart out! The design is lovingly hand-drawn by one of our directors! It’s a fun, eye-catching design that’ll bring a smile to your face and pink-powered joy to your wardrobe.
(T-shirts will be made of a breathable nylon.)

You must register by September 20th to guarantee race day swag.
The 5K route begins near the front of the Sportsplex and follows a beautiful, well-maintained wooded trail. Signs will be posted alongside the course to guide runners.
Water Stations
There will be one water station located at the halfway/turn around point of the race.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located by the first mile marker (see course map) and are fully ADA accessible.
Medical Support
A first aid station will be located near the start/finish line (see course map), staffed by a licensed physician. Volunteers will also be stationed around the course to offer assistance if needed.
Check-In Booths
Check-in booths will be located near the start line. This is where you can pick up your shirt, chip timer, and other race-day goodies. Check-in will begin around 4:00 PM on race day (10/02).
There will be options to pick up your shirt before race day; details pending.
