Parking will be located on Airport property and along Admiral Byrd Drive. Volunteers will direct you where to park.
Water will be available at the start and finish line areas, as well as two hydration stations on the race course.
Yes, portable bathrooms will be located just inside the fence near the airport terminal. Please refrain from using the restrooms inside the terminal.
Race bibs and T-shirts can be picked up on race day at the event location, from 6:45-7:45 AM. Look for tables set up at the rear area of the Airport Terminal with signs that read, "Registration" and "Check-In". Provide your name to the volunteers at that location and they will check you in, provide your bib and send you to the T-shirt table to obtain your shirt if you have pre-ordered one.
You may authorize another person to pick up your packet/bib number.
For the safety and security of all our runners, participants are not permitted to run with someone else’s race bib.
Yes, there will be plenty of space to view the race from start to finish.
Live results will be uploaded to the Registration Page. Look for the Results QR Code near the Registration.
Yes, the awards ceremony will happen directly after the race is completed. Award information can be found HERE.
Since this course is on closed runway, vehicles will not be an issue, therefore headphones and strollers are allowed. However, patrons who decide to push a stroller will be required to start the race at the rear of the field of runners. Pets are NOT allowed on the race course under any circumstances.
While the Frederick County Sheriff's Office and Winchester Regional Airport tries to make our race course as safe as possible through good course management, marshaling, and marking, we believe that runners have a responsibility for their own safety and the safety of the runners around them.
