28th annual Victory Over Violence Walk/Run

About Our Walk/Run

The Victory Over Violence event includes a 5K walk/run as well as a 1K fun run through Trinity Park in Fort Worth. We are proud to be celebrating our 27th annual race!

This event exists to raise funds in support of The Women’s Center’s services that empower survivors of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and other violent crimes. More than that, we hope to raise awareness about how these issues affect women, men, and children in our community.

This family-friendly event features a dedicated Kids’ Zone area and K-12 school teams. This race is a favorite among cause-focused organizations in Tarrant County, with many corporate teams and community partners participating year after year.

7:00 a.m. – Registration Opens
8:00 a.m. – 1K Fun Run Starts
8:05 a.m. – 5K Warm-Up
8:30 a.m. – 5K Starts
9:15 a.m. – Awards & Results

Parking

Designated race parking is located at FWISD Farrington Field, 1501 N University, 76107. For handicap parking please enter into Trinity Park at 7th Street and Stayton Street (across from Chuy’s Tex Mex).

Timing

Chip timing is done with a disposable timing chip on the back of your bib. Do not bend, remove, or alter your bib. To be timed, just select the 5K Timed event when registering for the race. There is a timing fee of $3.
