Details

Lead runners by riding in front of them. Wear school/team uniform if applicable. Line up on race day in front of the Start line at 7:15. At finish, turn on street before the finish line. However, stop and make sure no runners follow you first!

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Marshals will be assigned certain locations along the course on race day. They will be there to protect the runners and cheer them on. Barricades will be set up at certain streets. But traffic will still need to be regulated. Volunteers will be given safety vests for their protection.

Location

Report to Anniston High School Parking lot by 6:30am. Race starts at 7:30. We will also need volunteers at 9:00am for Kidstock.

Water stop volunteer. Helping set up and take down. Offering and handing water to runners as they pass by. Picking up trash as they drop cups.

19th Street and Davis. Bottom of hill behind the AHS football stadium.

Finish line - Handing out medals, Wet towels, water. Replenish as needed.

Age Group Awards Hand out Medium Priority

Details

Handing out and working with timer after the race handing out age group awards. Report to volunteer table by 7am at the latest. Will be handing out age group awards as they are available outside in the courtyard by the timing table. Quilt will be set up for photos. Have one person assist with photos if needed.
