Details

YOU are the most important part of the marathon support!! Keep the runners happy and healthy. Some may stop to chat but most will grab and go.
Be a cheerleader, encourager, and hustler (be on the road with cups of liquid so the station is more obvious).

Each station must have an adult (18+/parent, teacher, etc.) with youth volunteers

2/18 - 6:00-3:00 (Mile 2 aide station is only 6-8)

Location

Varies as to where you are assigned on the course at Camp Roberts - Mile 2, 4.2, 6, 8.5 (half turnaround),10,12, 14, 14.9 (full turnaround)

Hand out finisher medals to participants after the cross finish line.

double check signage for any disturbance overnight and setup aide stations (table, chairs, weather protection, supply boxes)

Parking Attendants

Direct drivers to parking areas, make sure no one parks on parade ground or other inappropriate area, direct cars to go behind gym not in front of it.

Course Marshall

You must be 25 or older to volunteer for this task.

Child Care

Details

Entertain children while parents run. Any children in the mile need to be taken to starting line & picked up from finish line. 2/18 - 7AM-3PM or shorter (when all children are picked up).

Donations team

Details

Seek and arrange pick up of donations for event. Wine for full & half finishers, other items for drawing for under age 21 and 10K/5K/kid's mile.
Work with athletic director and race director to arrange for donations now until event and deliver them to school or base by 2/17
