You'll be provided with a clip board, pen, registration sheet (participant last and first name, shirts size if pre-ordered), as well as timing bibs and safety pins.
1. Check in runners using random bib assignments.
2. Direct participants to the pick up a shirt if pre-ordered.
3. Direct runners to sign a waiver if not completed during their registration process.
4. Answer general event questions or point participants to the race director.

Finish Area Attendant High Priority

Details

You will be setting up the finish line for 350 participants to gather and celebrate their finish at the end of the Castle to Coast Fun Run. Use the finish line map provided for Shamel Park to guide set up of the venue.
1. Erect tables with 5-gallon drums of water and recovery FLUID. Fill cups with water/FLUID.
2. Erect a table for food – bananas, oranges, breads. Using the cutting board and knives provided cut the bread and fruit into bite size pieces and place them in the serving tins. Please wear gloves.
3. Erect 2-tables for raffle prizes and Castle to Coast shirt sales.
4. Erect speakers with cable extensions and music set up; dongle, AUX, etc.
5. Set up Finish Chute w/ delineators and flagging.
6. Manage 2 x Bus and 1 x EMT parking locations.
7. Block off parking locations along Windsor Blvd. at Shamel Park with cones. These spaces are reserved for race personnel only. NO participant or spectator parking.
8. Refill cups with water as needed.
9. Distribute 1 prize / participant randomly to as many participants as possible. Use microphone and speakers to do so. Provide updates on bus schedule, where participants can find their race times, lost and found, etc.
10. Sell any leftover shirts for $25 dollar.
11. Clean up trash in the area.
