Course Marshal High Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Please arrive by 8:30 AM and ask for Jenn for your assigned location.

You will be placed out on the course ensure runners/walkers stay on the course route.

Middle school and elementary school children must be accompanied by an adult.

High school students can accompany an adult or two high school students will be paired together (two student volunteers count as 1 adult volunteer).

Saturday Set Up Crew Medium Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Tasks include but not limited to:
-Helping set up registration tent
-Start/Finish Line area set up
-Race Course Set Up

Meal Service High Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Please arrive by 10:00AM and ask for Jenn for task assignment.

You will be helping serve lunch from Smokin' Yards BBQ after the race is completed to participants.

Participants must present a meal ticket in order to receive their food.

Set up of service area and breakdown/clean up will also be tasks for this position.

Friday Set Up Crew (day before event) High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Assist the race director and FOCP with setting up the After Party area at Charlies Place the day before the event.

You will be helping with tent, table, and chair set up, and anything else needed to prepare for race day on Saturday.

Time for arrival for this assignment will be arranged closer to the date. Please anticipate at least 2 hours to help.

Anyone under age 18 expected to be accompanied by an adult to assist.

Break Down Crew

Details

Please arrive by 11:30 AM. Ask to meet with Jenn when you arrive for further instruction.

Tasks include but not limited to:
-Emptying garbage cans and replacing the bags at the finish line water station and around the race site during the race.
-Break Down of tables, chairs, tents, etc at end of race.
-Help collect race flags/signs along route.

Additionally, police the race site area (grassy area, finish line, area near bathrooms, and parking lot) for any garbage and throw it away. The race site must be cleaned before we can leave the venue.

Beer Crew

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.
