Water Station Volunteers High Priority

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Hand out water to the race participants at the halfway point in the race. Set up station at 7am and stay through clean up/breakdown at 9am.

Check in at Lake David. Volunteer activity is at Intersection of Michigan & Beach

Race Event Set Up High Priority

Details

Help set up the start/finish lines, including blowing up arches, hanging banners. Place Directional Route Signs on the Race Route. Set up post-race area: stage, snack area, Survivor Lounge, etc. Set up begins 4am and ends at 7am.

Directions Attendant & Cheer Squad Medium Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 18 more volunteers needed.

Details

Take a position at a corner where race turns and point/cheer racers in the correct direction. Feel free to dress up in a fun entertaining costume, have fun cheering our runners on their race!. Arrive no later thatn 7:15 for instructions and time to get to your assigned area. This shift will go until 9:30am, when you return directional signs from your area to volunteer area in Lake David Park.

Registration Table & Medal Handouts to Finishers High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist our racers checking in for the race. Hand out bibs, shirts & maps. This will take place from 6:45 am - 8:15 am. You will then move to the finish line to cheer in our finishers and hand out water bottle, race medals and swag bags. This part will take place from 8:20am through 9:30am.

Post Race Clean Up & Event Break Down High Priority

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help with Race Event Breakdown and Clean Up. This shift will begin at 9:30am and end approximately at noon. You will be lifting and moving arches, tents, tables etc.
