The Medical Plan: The S/F area will have an aid station to assist any runner with basic medical needs, For any major issues, a call will be placed to 911 to have a medical crew dispatched. The event will offer free entry to 4 doctors or nurses who will agree to help with any medical emergency as they run the course. This roving medical plan will be in addition to the many medically trained people in this Ultra community that are capable of offering Basic First Aid. The job of the roving medical team will be to assist any runner with medical difficulties and call 911 if needed and notify the Race Directors ( RD’s ) as to the location on the loop where they are. Most major medical emergencies happen after a runner stops running, which would be the S/F area most of the time.
