Registration High Priority

You must be 15 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

All volunteer needs to arrive by 7:00 am. Guests will register by providing their first and last name. Once you have verified the guest, you will provide them an event bracelet and a numbered bib. Please make sure to explain to them the bib number will be used for raffle prizes. Once you have completed your task, please refer them to the next table for the event t-shirt and swag bag pick-up.

T-shirt and Swag Bag Pick-Up High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am. T-shirts and Swag bags will be labeled with first and last names. Please provide the guest with their bag(s). Once you have provided the guest with their t-shirt and swag bag, please refer them to the sponsor tents where they will receive additional goodies.
All guest picking up an event bag must have first gone through the registration table and be wearing an event bracelet. Event bags will be alphabetized for faster identification.

Snacks and Refreshments High Priority

Details

All Volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am. You will be responsible to keep the table assorted with snacks, fruits, and refreshments. We will provide you with a table cloth, paper towels, and garbage bags so the area is kept clean at all times.
Make sure guests are wearing an event bracelet to receive free snacks and refreshments. If they have not received an event bracelet, please refer them to the registration tent.
Your responsibility will be to make sure guests feel welcomed.

Art-in-the Park High Priority

Details

All Volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am. There will be arts and crafts provided at Art Tent.. You must like to work with kids and enjoy teaching them how to do the art projects. There will be 3 different projects for the kids to pick from.

Silent Auction High Priority

Details

All Volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am - There will be a task coordinator there to help you. Your responsibility is to make sure guests know how to bid on the items they like and to make sure guests are following the bidding rules. It is important that your familiarize yourself with all the items being auctioned before the guests arrive.

Raffle and Games Coordinator High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am - You need to coordinate the yard games with the guests. There will be music chair contest, raffle prizes, and other yard games. You must be ready to start coordinating the games as soon as the guests arrive back from the walk

Finish Line Greeters/Photography High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am - Your responsibility is to stand at finish line of the walk. You will hand out every guest that comes across the finish line a participation metal. You will also invite them to the podiums for a photo opportunity.

Set Up/Pick Up High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7:00 am - We need volunteers to help us set up tents, tables, chairs, and food area. After event is over, we need help picking everything back up and loading up the truck with all the items that need to go back to storage.

Signage Pick-Up High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7am. Volunteer will wait until all the participants leave for the walk, and go behind picking up all the signage we installed marking the walk. Make sure you are behind the last person walking with nobody else walking behind you. Bring all the signage back to the staging are and place cart in the Miggy's Gift tent

Handing out goodies to kids High Priority

Details

All volunteers need to arrive by 7am. Volunteer will be in assigned location before walk begins and once the participants walk through their assigned location, they will hand out goodies to the children participating in the walk. These volunteers will work in teams of 2.
