Set-up High Priority

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers to help us set up tents, tables, activity areas. Work with our awesome Team Cupcake to make this event a reality.

Break-down High Priority

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help to ensure that the park looks just like we found it, or better (as my dear mother used to say). Take down tents, tables, clean-up activity areas, etc.

Packet Pickup Day Support High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need welcoming folks and getting everyone their race packets. We are using a tech savvy method for bib assignments, so the work should be low stress and fun :-). (NOTE: There will be race-day registrations allowed.)

Greeter High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Greet and welcome participants, answer questions, lead them to pre-race activities, guide them to our stretching /yoga areas as they arrive.

Water Stations

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

(BEFORE, DURING, AFTER the run): We will need help at several water stations to pour and hand out water in Solo-style cups to runners along the route, and at our water tent at the start/finish line.

Special Issues/Runners

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will be on call to address special requests or issues from participants and Team Cupcake during the run. May have to walk to different areas, make calls, figure things out.

Sponsor Support

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will check in with each of the sponsors present to ensure that they have what they need, etc.

5K Race Start

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

We have lots of participants at the Cupcake RUN! 5K. We need energetic, well­‐organized volunteers to get everyone situated before the race starts at 8:00am. Race Start volunteers will need to check in with our race timing company upon arrival.

Race Course

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers positioned along the Cupcake RUN! 5K race course to keep runners on track to the finish line. There will be cones and security teams present, as well.

Race Finish

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers positioned at the Cupcake RUN! 5K Finish Line to congratulate folks, and hand out water, medals and to guide them to the “finisher” cupcakes at Cupcake Row!
