Volunteering at a water station is the perfect way to support runners as they push through the race, offering hydration, encouragement, and smiles! You will help set up and service water stations. Volunteers will set up stations including filling cups of water, mixing electrolyte product, and hand out water/fuel/electrolyte to runners and aid in keeping up stock of supplies at aid stations, and maintaining cleanliness of area. Role includes assisting in breakdown and cleanup and oversight of greening. NOTE: Groups of 15 - 20 volunteers are preferred, and at least one adult Water Station captain is required, two suggested. Water Station Captains will be required to attend a training call/meeting, and in some instances, will be required to arrive earlier on race day to pick up supplies. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a box truck required. We will give you all you need and there will be a donation that will go to your service or charity group for volunteering for this position.
