• Using bike follow last place runner/biker from start at Elma to Lake Hendricks water event. Report any problems

Water Event In-Point High Priority

Volunteer # 1 9:45 – 11:25 Volunteer # 2 – 9:45 – 12:20
• General – unload tubes and life jackets from enclosed trailer; ensure participants have properly secured life jackets; provide tubes
• Specifics:
o Make sure life jackets are properly fastened
o Point tubers to take-out point
o May need to reposition bikes to allow for more
o Do not provide life jacket/tubes after 11:00 as this is the cutoff time
o Volunteer 2 stays with bikes to provide security. After finishing, entrants may claim bike with matching bib number
o Tubes and life jackets to be loaded into trailer after 11:00. Volunteer 1 will then drive pickup/trailer to takeout point and load remaining items.
Volunteers may fill more than one position if the time slots allow

Details

Welcome Center to serve food and drink 10:45 – 12:30
• General – Serve food and water to race participants and volunteers
• Specifics:
o Provide sloppy joes, bars, water, etc. to racers and volunteers
o Serving time is 11:15 to 12:15
o On duty time includes prep work of getting food from basement, serving and clean-up
