Job Duties: Move runners/walkers to the start line. Help keep strollers and dogs at the rear of the pack.

Skills: Loud clear voice, outgoing personality. No lifting. Able to walk and stand for about a 3 hour shift in cold weather.

Details

Job Duties: Call out times to runners as they reach mile marks.

Skills: Loud clear voice, No lifting. Able to walk and stand for a 3 to 4 hour shift in cold weather.

Along the Boise Greenbelt, exact locations will be provided prior to race day.

Work Refreshment Table

Job Duties: Hand water to race participants & pick up trash.

Skills: Able to walk and stand for a 3 hour a.m. shift. Some lifting required.

Course Workers

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Job Duties: Cheer on and direct runners/walkers, keeping them on course using voice and hand signals.

Skills: Loud clear voice, outgoing personality. No lifting. Able to walk and stand for a 4 hour a.m. shift in cold weather.

Location

Stationed along 7k course at corners.

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Job Duties: Make sure that registration form is filled out completely and correctly.
Hand out assigned bib numbers. Mark name on sheet to show that bib has been picked up. Direct problems to the Trouble Desk if manned. Solve registration problems if trouble desk is not manned.

Skills: Organizing the table and bib numbers.

Trouble Desk

Job Duties: Make the decision on how to handle those who have sent in their registration but it has not been received. List any changes in participant information due to typos during data entry. Change event that person wishes to participate in. Make decisions on other issues that may appear.

Skills: Able to solve problems quickly and ensure participants concerns are met.

T-shirt Distributor - 7K Race

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Job Duties: Cheer on the runners as they finish the race. Hand out t-shirts to runners and highlight by bib number.

Skills: Outgoing and can keep the table organized. Some lifting required.

Job Duties: Cheer on the top three male & female runners while distributing their awards to them.

Tear Down

Job Duties: Assist with the break down of the race including cleaning up trash, sweeping the route, taking down tables, and inventorying apparel.

Race Course Set-Up

Job Duties: Will assist in setting up tables, chairs, cones, signs, etc.
