Hydration Stations

Details

16 Hydration Stations are set up along the routes. A small group of volunteers are assigned to each station. Volunteers set out cups of water and Gatorade for the runners to pick up as they run by. Volunteers support and cheer the runners on to a successful finish. Stations assignments vary from 1 to 2 hours, depending on location of station.

Course Monitor / Traffic Control

You must be 18-80 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Monitors / Traffic Control is placed at all intersections, and turns on the race courses. Volunteers must be 18 or older and wear a MAYC Volunteer shirt which will be provided. Assignments vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the location of placement.

Details

Transforming a High School Track into a Race Venue and placing clear signage along the 5k, 10k, and 1/2 Marathon is completed before the race and removed after. Many tasks are done on Friday, August 5th in preparation for the August 6th races.
