5K Mid-route Water Station

October 17, 2026

Details

Hand out water and encouragement to 5K participants on the route. The water station will be located between the half way point and mile 2, shortly before participants enter the grounds of Convent of the Holy Spirit.

Post-race Refueling Station

Details

Hand out hydration, snacks, and finisher packs to runners and walkers as they complete their race.

Parking Lot Guides

Details

Be present as race guests and participants enter to direct them to the publicized lots.

Dash Assistants

October 17, 2026

Details

Volunteers will be assigned to assist with our Inflatables Race, 1/4 Mile Kids' Dash, and/or 50 Yard Kids' Dash by supporting CHA staff/faculty with participants for line up and race start and finish.

5K Route Sweeper

Details

Walks at the very back of the pack to ensure no runner is left behind and signals to course marshals that the race is clear. If needed, picks up any debris left behind on the course.

1 Mile Route Sweeper

5K and 1 Mile Cheer Section Leads

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Recruit adults and students who are not in an active race to cheer on racers and walkers at pre-determined cheer section locations along the route.

Event Teardown

Assist our facilities crew with post event teardown and clean up.
