Cycle Team

Details

Check in at St Michaels High School at 6:00am.
Please allow time to park, gather your materials and arrive at the high school at 6:00am

Cycle Team members will assist in leading or following the runners along the course. Volunteers will need to provide their own bicycle, helmet, and any other bike equipment.

Completion time will depend on the event you are assisting, but should be no later than 11:00am.

Course Marshal

Details

Shift time is 6:15am to 11:00am

During the event, volunteers will provide on-site race encouragement and directions. You will be assigned an intersection along the race course and given instruction on how to direct participants. As runners approach you during the race you direct them so they stay on course and cheer them on!

Note: Some course marshal positions will be for one race only (5K, 10K, or half-marathon), some course marshal positions will be along the route for more than one race. Volunteer completion time will depend on the location where you are assigned.

Water Stop #1 - Martingham 1 - **Project Imagine**

Details

Volunteer shift time: 6:00am to approx. 11:00am. Completion time will depend on when the last runner passes the water station

Pre-race, volunteers will set up the water stop and fill water cups. During race, volunteers will hand out water to participants and cheer them on. Volunteers will cleanup the station once last participant passes through and check out with the CCR team lead.

Exact location on course will be communicated. Please ensure that you have transportation to and from the water station on race day.

Volunteers will be able to go directly to their water station and check-in via text message on race morning. All materials will be located at the water station.

Water Stop #2 - Martingham 2 - **TAYA**

Volunteer shift time: 6:00am to approx. 11:00am. Completion time will depend on when the last runner passes the water station

Start/ Finish

Start Line

At least 8 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteer shift time is from approximately 5:30am to 8:00am

Volunteer tasks include assisting with:
-Setting up the start line
-Pre-race bag check
-Directing runners to their corrals or start areas

As the races begin, volunteers will make sure all participants cross the start line safely and efficiently. After all participants have crossed the start line, volunteers will assist in breaking down the start area and check out with the CCR team lead.

Finish Line

Details

Volunteer shift time is from 6:30am to 11:00am

Pre-race, volunteers will assist with set up of the finish line area. During the race, volunteers will make sure all participants cross the finish line safely, and hand out water bottles, medals, and snacks. After the last participants have completed the race, volunteers will assist with breakdown of the finish line and check out with the CCR team lead.

Details

Volunteer shift time is from 3:30pm to 8:30pm

Volunteers will assist with handing out race materials to participants and answer participant inquiries. At the end of your shift, assist with cleaning up packet pickup materials and check out with the CCR team lead.

Volunteers will assist with handing out race materials to participants and answering participant inquiries. Once packet pickup ends, assist with cleaning up the area and check out with the CCR team lead.

Parking

Details

Volunteer shift is from approximately 5:00am to 8:30am

Volunteers will direct participants to park safely and efficiently. You will be able to go directly to your location on race morning, and an address will be communicated prior to race date. We will provide safety vests and flags. Check-in with the volunteer coordinator via text message.

Post-Race Celebration

Post-Race Celebration

At least 20 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteer shift is from 7:30am to 2:00pm

You will help host an awesome post-race party!
Volunteers may be assigned to help with:
-Post-race food
-Bag Check pick-up
-Beer (these volunteers must be 21+)
-Directing participants through the post-race area
-Other duties as needed.

At the end of the event, volunteers will assist with clean up of the party and check out with the CCR team lead.
