Transport barricades from drop off at DeWitt Track to appropriate locations around the school property - Herbison, Clark, Pride. Validate barricades are in appropriate places around the race courses. Access to truck or trailer is required.

Task will include two groups: One to setup miles 1-6, the other to setup miles 6-13. Two people per group is preferable.

Course Cone Setup (Saturday)

Drive course and pull cones from side of the road into the road to appropriately mark the courses. Car is required.

Two groups of two people will be necessary: One group to pull cones for miles 1-6, and the other to pull cones for miles 6-10.

Kid's Dash

Assist in organizing the start of the Kids Dash. Distribute finisher awards as participants cross the finish line. Cheer, encourage and guide participants. Answer event questions from participants and parents as needed.

stay on sidewalk on northside of Clark Road to path. 10K/Half just past Mile #1.

Move Barricade to grass once sweep volunteer passes or 8:45 am when all racers are through. Return Lanyard and vest to sweep volunteer.

Note: This could be someone walking the route rather than riding a bike.

Post-Race / Cleanup

Collect Barricades

May 18, 2024

Details

Transport barricades from appropriate locations around the school property - Herbison, Clark, Pride - to drop off at DeWitt Track. Validate barricades are removed from roads at appropriate places around the race courses. Access to truck or trailer is required.

Clean up Cones on Course

May 18, 2024

Details

Drive course and collect cones. Transport cones to drop of at DeWitt track.

Two groups of two people will be necessary: One group to pull cones for miles 1-6, and the other to pull cones for miles 6-10.

Pickup Water Stations

May 18, 2024

Details

Collect cups, trash, Gu, coolers of water, coolers of Gatorade, signage and tables from various water station locations around the course and deliver all (except tables) to Race Director's residence. Deliver tables to track, under tent, for collection.

Course Cleanup

May 18, 2024

Details

Make sure all cones are picked up, barricades are in the proper location, all signage has been removed from course.

Cleanup Packet Pickup

May 18, 2024

Details

Arrive at 7:45.
Pack up unclaimed bags and race supplies into Race Directors vehicle.
Tidy area.
