The Race-In-A-Box will no longer provide workers to erect the finish line. Volunteers for this task will help set up the finish line, refreshment station and banners.

VCA Parking Lot. Check in at the Race Director table if needed.

Race Tear Down Medium Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

The Race-In-A-Box will no longer provide workers to disassemble the finish line. Volunteers for this task will help take apart and pack the finish line and refreshment station. Banners are to be carefully removed and saved.

Race Route Team

Traffic Direction Volunteer High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

The traffic volunteers are stationed at a specific location along the race route to help vehicles exit the route. They are to be station after the city begins to barricade the streets and will be relieved by the race route station volunteers who can also direct traffic.

Traffic Direction Volunteers are to pick up items at the Director's Table (vests, flags, etc.) in the VCA Parking Lot. Once the race route station volunteers arrive items are to be returned back to the Director's Table.

Race Route Station Medium Priority

Details

Race Route Volunteers are to check in and collect items (vests, flags, etc.) from the Director's Table by 8:00 am. Volunteers are to be at their assigned location 15 minutes prior to the start of the race (8:45 am). Team spirit, costumes, and signs are highly encouraged to create a fun atmosphere for participants! Route Volunteers are to help direct runners and vehicle traffic during the race. After the Sweeper (four wheeler volunteer) passes a station, route volunteers can return all items to the Directors Table.

Race Route Water Station High Priority

Details

The Victory 5K has two water stations located along the race route. Water station volunteers are required to bring items from the VCA parking lot to the intersection marked on the race route, hand out water, collect garbage during the race, and bring all the items back to VCA.

Project Care Water Station High Priority

Details

The water station at project care will be staffed by project care volunteers.
Volunteers are to collect items from the Director's Table at VCA (water cases, food, etc.) and run the water station located at Project Care. Once the Sweeper passes the station items can be returned to VCA.
