Registration tent volunteers will need to report to race site at 6:30am. Registration will be from 7a-8a and you will assist with race day sign ups, packet pick up for already registered participants, bib number and t-shirt distributions.

Assist with stopping traffic flow in/out of the Roses parking lot on the American Tobacco Trail off of Highgate drive. Once the last walker passes by the second time, you may be relieved of your task and return the traffic flag to the finish line race directors (Lara Leininger).

Turn Around Water Station

Details

Assist with water station set up. Hand out water to all Run For Resilience Ostomy 5k participants at the turn around station. After the last walker has come to your station, you may start cleaning up. Clean up all cups/waste and put in the waste basket. Take down tables/chairs and bring to Finish line in Renaissance Village to give to the race directors (Angela Richardson or Lara Leininger).

Location

On the American Tobacco Trail just before you cross Dunhill Drive. All the water, cups, tables, chairs and garbage can will be waiting for you at this location.

Details

Walk the 5k course and ensure you are the last walker so that we know when the race officially ends. You will announce to the volunteers at the turn around water station and coming back through on the course you will notify the traffic control volunteers and traffic police officer that you are the last walker.
