Registration/Race Packet Pick Up High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

These people will be the first to get there on race day. Registration volunteers will assist with setting up race registration and passing out race packets as participants sign in. You should plan to arrive by 6:00 AM for a light breakfast and training.

If not enough course volunteers sign up, these folks will be asked to man the snack table for the race finishers once registration closes.

If signing up volunteers less than 16 years of age, they will need parental supervision.

Course Volunteers Low Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course volunteers will assist on the racecourse. These lively folks will line the racecourse at strategic spots. You should arrive by 7:30 AM to receive your assigned location and instructions. Volunteers will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Strategic spots include:
 4 groups of at least 2 @ each turn in the course (they will make sure racers stay on course)
 1 group of at least 2 to mark the turn for the 1 Mile Walk
 1 or 2 people to man the snack table (at the end of the course)

If signing up volunteers less than 16 years of age, they will need parental supervision.

Water Stop Volunteers Medium Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will set up the station, placing water bottles on a table with gloved hands for runners as they pass, then clean up/pack up the water stop after the last runner comes through.

Water stop includes:
 1 group of at least 2 to man the water table (specific location TBA)

If signing up a volunteer less than 16 years of age, they will need parental supervision.
