Volunteers my register individually or with a group (10 or more). Volunteers under 18 years of age must be registered by a parent or guardian and race day be supervised by an adult. Individuals under 18 years of age may volunteer for duties such as water stations and finisher medal distribution

Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt. Groups of 10 or more are entitled to receive a small donation from the race. Volunteers are welcome to attend the post race awards celebration at the end of their shift.

Groups must pick a team leader responsible for communicating between their group and the Grand Island Half Marathon volunteer organizer. The team leader is also responsible following the volunteer age requirements and that all volunteers are registered prior to the event.
