We are looking for volunteers to help with registration needs during the 5K for Sickle Cell . This involves helping people sign in, getting people their t-shirts and bags. As well as additional needs that may arise the day of.

Set Up/Tear Down Volunteers

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

We are looking for volunteers to help with set up and tear down during the 5K for Sickle Cell. This will involve setting up tables, signs, games, race makers, and food . As well as tearing down tables, picking up trash, and signage.

On-site Nurses High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need Registered Nurses on site in case of an emergency the day of. These individuals will be on standby during the race and if possible will be on standby during the cook out. If an emergency does arise, these individuals will provide initial support and will lead the response of the injured.

Food Distribution

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers to help pass out food and beverages to the after cookout attendees.

Race Route Supporters High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers who are able to pour and pass out water to runners who need it as well as volunteers to be positioned on the route to direct participants and ensure participants stay on course; finally these individuals would also help with any last minute needs that may arise while participants are on the course.

Game Hosts

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need volunteers to lead the games during the 5K for Sickle Cell cookout. This will involve engaging participants and providing directions the day of . These individuals need to be energetic and engaging!
