Race Day Activities

Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup High Priority

Details

Come be the wonderful smiling face race participants see in the morning. Verify participant identification, assign bib numbers and present with race swag.

We ask you show up by 7:15 am to get acclimated with the check-in system we use before participants show up at 7:30 am. You only need to stay till registration and check-in is complete around 9 am. You are more than welcome to stick around and help in other areas link finish line refreshments.

P.S. You get a free race shirt.

Location

Will be located in the grassy area near the pond. Look for the Dave's running tent.

Course Management

Course Marshals (Course Setup & Tear Down) High Priority

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

During the race you are life source for runners; direct runners along the course while protecting them from traffic. It helps to know what mile you’re at, how far until the next aid station, and how to cheer at inappropriate volumes. Before the race and after the race we would love if you could help us with course setup and tear down at the end.

Location

Various locations throughout the course. Assigned on race day.

Timing High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Assist Dave's Running with tracking of people as they cross the finish line for timing. At least 2 people needed.

At the finish line of the race by Beer Barrel Pizza.

Hydration

Water Stations High Priority

At least 9 more volunteers needed.

Details

Be the most appreciated and sought out person on the course as you provide the on course refreshments for the runners.

At least 5 people needed at each stop.

We ask that you show up by 8:15 am - 8:30 am. To prep and setup your stations. Water cups and water will already be at each location.

Location

2 Locations - 1 at the 1.5 mile marker and 1 at 3 mile marker. You assigned location will be given to you on race day morning.

Finish Line Refreshments Medium Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist with getting people through the finish line and provide them with recovery nurishment.

Near the finish line of the race by Beer Barrel Pizza.
