Finish Line Assistants High Priority

Details

No previous experience required. Finish Line Assistants will help with various tasks during the event. Instructions/guidance will be provided the morning of the event. Tasks will include writing down bib numbers, removing shoe chips, passing out water to finishers.

Race Course Safety Marshals High Priority

You must be 16-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

No previous experience required. Race Course Safety Marshals will be stationed around the course at the entrances and exits to the parking lots located inside the park while runners and walkers are on the course. Their primary role will be to alert any drivers attempting to enter or exit a parking lot of approaching runners or walkers. At some locations where turns are made, the Marshals will also direct runners and walkers to follow the proper route. Marshals will be provided with a safety vest on Race Day that must be worn while volunteering.

Race Day Check In and Registration Volunteers High Priority

You must be 16-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

No previous experience required. Brief orientation will be provide to you upon arrival. Race Day check in and registration volunteers will greet and welcome participants. Tasks will include passing out bib numbers, shirts and other race day materials to registered runners and walkers. Will provide brief instructions to participants on how to wear bib numbers and shoe timing chips. Will also be prepared to share location of start/finish line and restrooms.

Main Pavilion near parking lot.

Water Stop Volunteers High Priority

You must be 16-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

No previous experience required. Water Stop Volunteers will move all needed equipment and supplies (all provided by the race) to the designated location for the water stop (will be just to the side of the course) prior to the start of the race and walk. Volunteers will offer cups of water to runners as they pass by. After the last runner has passed by, the volunteers will take down all of the equipment, remove any trash and return materials to the start/finish line area.

Area will be marked prior to the race with a temporary sign at the side of the course.
