You are in charge of pointing runner in the right direction and cheering them along the way! This is one of the most fun volunteer positions!

Lots of time slots available to choose. The Volunteer Lead will be in touch to work out the specifics.

Helping to direct cars to parking spots on the farm. This is the spot for you if you like to start out early and then enjoy the festival.

Aid Station Supply/support High Priority

Serve as point-of-contact for aid station groups; Contact and organize the different aid stations; Help coordinate the placement of stations on the course; Help coordinate with the Volunteer Lead to ensure course clean-up for aid stations.

Course Clean-up

Details

This position starts after the races finish. Ensure course is cleaned of all trash and debris. Ensure all aid stations have been properly broken down and cleared. Sweep the local area to pick up all advertisements of the event.

Details

Solicit volunteers for all the available positions. Assign individuals to each position. Ensure all volunteers know where to go and ensure staffing throughout the event weekend. Be available for all volunteer questions throughout the festival.

Race Team Volunteer

Assist RD with pre-race course markings; Assist RD with race day set-up; runner sweeper (drivers license and clean driving record required); finish line breakdown.

Lead Bike

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Lead the half marathon runners on their 13.1 mile journey ensuring they follow the course map. Portions of this course are not on paved roads so you will need a crossover bike.

Course Sweeper

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Follow the half marathon runners on their 13.1 mile journey! Stay in communication with the RD and emergency staff in coordinating a safe event. Coordinate with the RD to pick up any runners that drop out of event or do not make the cut off time. Portions of the course are not accessible by car. If you want to drive, we can make arrangements to cover the portions that are not accessible by other means.
