Details

Volunteers are needed for pre-race set-up through the duration of the race to help set up tables/tents, register new runners, check in pre-registered runners, and distribute race bibs, t-shirts, and marketing materials. Volunteers registering participants will need to remain at the sign-up table from 6:30–7:45 AM.

**IMPORTANT**: Only volunteer for this task if you also signed up for 'Packet Pick-up Booth' on Friday, Oct, 4. Training for this task will be provided during Friday's packet pick-up.

Runner ½ Way Water Station High Priority

Details

Volunteers are needed to work the ½ way water table for runners. Duties include setting out water for runners and cleaning up any water cups/bottles that are not placed in the garbage can.

Meridian Rd, Ladys Island

How to Find Us: The water station is located on the right side of the Meridian road after the turn-around marker for runners. If volunteering at this location, please note the downtown bridge will be closed for the race. You’ll have to get to this station via Parris Island to Lady’s Island. Please allow plenty of travel time for traffic. You’ll want to be at your station no later than 7 am to ensure plenty of time for setup prior to the runners making it your way.

Replenishment Table Medium Priority

Details

Volunteers are needed to work the start/finish line water and replenishment table for runners. Duties include passing out bananas, oranges, and water for runners and cleaning up any water cups/bottles that are not placed in the garbage can.

Floaters Low Priority

Details

A few extra volunteers are needed to serve as backups for the various stations on the day of the race. These volunteers may be asked to pick up supplies from another location and bring them back to a specific station or be backups for a volunteer who calls out the day of the event.

**IMPORTANT**: If you are already a volunteer at one of the stations on race day, do not sign-up as a floater.
