7:30am Food Runner

Our 7:30am runners will make two stops: 1. A stop at Jumburrito on Midkiff by the mall at 7:30am to collect the post-race burritos (to be delivered to our venue between 7:55am and 8:00am). **USE THE HOLDAY HILL ENTRANCE WHEN RETURNING FROM THE VENUE by driving north on Midland Dr, left on Greentree Blvd, then left on Holiday Hill Rd.2. A run over to Bites at the Vineyard to collect the banana pancakes for the half marathoner's. Pick up time is 8:30am with immediate delivery back to the venue.

Our volunteers shows up ugly-early when its cold as a mug, and the least we can do is feed them and provide warm coffee to get them going. Our 5am runner will make a stop at Jumburrito and Kafeology to collect the volunteer food and coffee (to be delivered to our venue by 5:20am).

Turn Around Point Manager

Our races have three distinct turn-around locations in the first mile to ensure precise course distancing. These locations are relatively close in proximity but a volunteer will need to transition/move the turn around sign between race events (two moves total). This volunteer will stand in the street with a safety vest at the turn around sign.

Course Direction Helper

Details

There are two tricky turns on our course where runners go in different directions based on the event they've signed up for. The first turn is at Tattenham Corner as runners turn onto Oriole Dr. 5k runners turn left onto Oriole (headed north) and 10k/13.1 turn right (headed south). Our course direction helpers hold signs in specific direction to help runners stay on course.The second turn is on Oriole north of the first turn (described above). All runners will eventually be headed north on Oriole, but 5k/10k runners will turn left off of Oriole onto Weidner Strip while 13.1 runners will continue straight on Oriole into Greentree. Our course direction helpers hold signs here to keep runners on course.Volunteers should arrive by 7:45am at the latest and be in position by 7:50am.
