ERR Course Marshal High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Arrive by 5:30 AM to receive supplies and directions. All course marshals must be in position by 6 AM. More volunteer information will be sent during the week prior to the race. Must be 18 or older for this volunteer position or accompanied by a parent, guardian, or approved adult.

Location

43rd and Powhatan. Parking lot 43 on Old Dominion University Campus.

ERR Race Day Packet Pick Up Volunteer High Priority

At least 11 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will assist Tidewater Striders with getting race packets to out-of-town participants on the morning on the Elizabeth River Run. Arrive at 5:30 AM for sign in and to get directions. Position starts at 5:45 AM. Parking will be available in Lot 43 at ODU. More volunteer information will be sent during the week prior to the race.

ERR After Party Volunteer High Priority

At least 20 more volunteers needed.

Details

Arrive at 7:00 AM for sign in and directions. Position starts at 7:15 AM. More volunteer information will be sent during the week prior to the race. Entrance to the Port will close at 7:45 AM. It is recommended to park in the Lochhaven Neighborhood and walk to the finish line area. Parking at the Port will not be available.

Bus Line Monitors Medium Priority

Details

Arrive at 7:00 AM for sign in and directions. Volunteers will be positioned at either the shuttle stop at the Elkhorn parking garage at ODU or at the bus station at the Port of VA. Position starts at 7:30 AM. More volunteer information will be sent during the week prior to the race.

Finish Line Volunteers

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

Handing out Gatorade & water to finishers. Direct finishers to after party area and dry bag pick up to keep the finish line open for runners and walkers. Arrive at the Port of Virginia by 7:15 AM. Entrance to the Port will close at 7:45 AM. It is recommended to park in the Lochhaven Neighborhood and walk to the finish line area. Parking at the Port will not be available.

Beer Station Volunteer Medium Priority

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Arrive at 7:15 AM for sign in and directions. Position starts at 7:30 AM. Volunteers must be 21 years old or older for this position. More volunteer information will be sent during the week prior to the race. Arrive at the Port of Virginia by 7:15 AM. Entrance to the Port will close at 7:45 AM. It is recommended to park in the Lochhaven Neighborhood and walk to the finish line area. Parking at the Port will not be available.
