Help poster Madison and nearby areas with posters advertising our awesome event!

We are particularly looking to poster downtown, Willy St, Park St, Monroe St, Atwood, and Lakeside. We're also looking for folks to help us get the word out in Madison suburbs, too.

Get the posters from the GSAFE office before you head out. You can pick the specific time and location that works for you. Drop us an email at info@gsafewi.org to let us know you can help or just sign up here and we'll follow up.

Assemble and Post No Parking Signs Medium Priority

Details

Help put together No Parking Signs to be put out to mark the race route in the week prior to the race. Exact timing is flexible, but the signs need to go into the ground 48 hours prior to the race. Email info@gsafewi.org to get instructions and signs/materials at the GSAFE office, 122 East Olin Ave.

Help give out water or candy to Trick or Trot Participants on the day of the race. We will provide instructions and equipment needed to keep volunteers, walkers, and runners safe throughout the event.

Route Biker and Caboose High Priority

Details

We are looking for 2 people ON BIKES to be a resource to participants and volunteers on the course. You will need to be able to bike our flat race course a number of times, have a cell phone, and a back pack or bike basket to stuff with candy refills if needed. You will finish by following the last walker to let course volunteers (course marshals and candy/water stations) that they can close down.

Candy Donator High Priority

At least 18 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help GSAFE by purchasing 2 bags ( or whatever you can!) of Halloween candy to be given away during the race. Consider inviting friends, co-worker, and teammates to join you!

T-shirt fold and organizer plus Swag Bag Assembler High Priority

Details

Drop off flyers at homes along the race route near Franklin Elementary letting them know about the upcoming event. Flyers need to be distributed between 1 and 2 weeks before event. Can be done during the day or early evening during the week or weekend. Please let us know you're interested and we'll follow up to coordinate.
