Get ready to rock your scariest FAVORITE look from the 80s or 90s at this year's Trick or Trot!

We are working with our race managers at Race Day Events and current guidance from public health officials to make Trick or Trot 2020 a safe and fun event for all involved. Updates will be posted to this page as the event draws closer.

This is a non-refundable event. In the case of cancellation all pre-registered participants will have the option to pick up their race swag at a time to be determined.

We will be running in waves for safety, with 25 people per wave. Please show up 10 mins prior to the start of your wave. Waves are 30 mins apart with our first wave starting at 1:00 pm and our last wave starting at 3:30 pm. Because of this will have a limited number of spaces for in-person runners and walkers with our max being 150 people total for the events.

Walk/Run starts at 1:00 PM

We will have an out-and-back course this year that will start and end at Penn Park (2101 Fisher St, Madison). The course will take advantage of sidewalks and bike path as much as possible to reduce the amount of traffic our participants might encounter.  The route, along with planned waves, will limit the need for participants to be in close proximity.

NEW for 2020: The course will have a 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3.1 mile markings, as well as clear marking walkers to turn around at either the .5 mile or the 1 mile mark. Individuals (including children) from the same household may walk or run alongside each other at our event. Individuals who do not live in the same household will be required to maintain a 6 food distance at all times during the walk/run.

How to Fundraise!

Trick or Trot supports GSAFE's mission to create
Wisconsin K-12 school where LGBTQ+ youth thrive.
Please consider supporting that work!

Become a Superhero!

Superheroes are fundraisers who support GSAFE by collecting pledges and online donations from friends, classmates, colleagues, and family members.  There is no set amount you have to raise, but we encourage everyone to set a goal of at least $250. We have some great incentives for fundraisers who raise money for us this year!

Click HERE for the Superhero Toolkit & get started!

Here's how to become a Superhero:

Click "Become a Fundraiser" in the left bar, and setup your own Fundraising page. You can fund raise as an individual or as part of a team. Registering as a team is a great opportunity for clubs, businesses, families, faith communities and sports teams to have fun while supporting the community. The more the scarier!
