Registration is from 6:45am to 7:45am. You will assist with participant registration, hand out race bags, and provide participant instructions.

Raffle

Details

Raffle is from 7:00am during registration to 10:00 (or whenever awards conclude). You will sell raffle tickets and assist with raffle drawing and help disperse winnings. Please feel free to walk around, be social, and sell some raffle tickets!

Concession Stand

Details

Concession stand opens at 7:00am and remains open until conclusion of raffle at approximately 10:30am. You will help finish set up if needed and sell food and beverages to hungry and thirsty participants and spectators.

Route Marker

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

A very important task so participants do not get lost along the route! :)
You will be out on the course directing runners in the correct direction and of course also cheering them on! Some route markers will be needed longer than others and some route marking locations require walking a farther distance. Let us know if you have any time constraints or restrictions.

Please check in at the volunteer station in Red Arrow Park near the concession stand to receive your volunteer t-shirt and further instructions at 7:40am. Please ensure you are on the course at your station at 7:55am. The last walker will know who they are and let you know you can leave your spot.

**Some of the route marking volunteers will be located near a mile marker. If this is the case, you will be given a stop watch and race organizers will ask for your cell phone number so we can call you at the start of the race telling you when to start your stopwatch**

Water Stations

Details

In this volunteer position, you will fill cups of water and hand them out to runners/walkers as they come by. Some water station attendants will be needed longer than others depending on where they are located on the route. Please let us know if you have any time constraints.

Please check in at the volunteer station in Red Arrow Park near the concession stand to receive your volunteer t-shirt and further instructions at 7:40am. Please ensure you are on the course at your station at 7:55am.

All supplies (table, water, cups, garbage bags/box) will already be set up for you at your station. After the last walker comes past you, please be sure to clean up the cups in your area and tie the garbage bag. Race organizers will come by to pick up the water stations at the conclusion of the race.

Timing

Details

There are three different volunteer positions involved with timing.
1. Record bib number and times as runners cross the finish line.
2. Help out those recording the bib numbers and times by yelling out the time runners cross the finish line and assisting with remember bib numbers
3. Collect bib tags from runners after they cross the finish line and are in the chute.

Please check in at the volunteer station in Red Arrow Park near the concession stand to receive your volunteer t-shirt and instructions at 7:50am. Be ready to record by 8:05 as the first 2 mile runner will finish faster than you think!

Post-race refreshments

Details

Help set-up and clean up post-race refreshments and help disperse post-race refreshments to participants as they finish the race.

Course takedown

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Help pick up cones, barricades, etc. and collect course flags and other course markers once all participants have finished the race.

Approximate time for takedown is 8:30am to 10:30am.
