Although Wisconsin is starting to reopen, we are still living in a time of uncertainty. We have been working diligently to determine how to effectively proceed with hosting The Humdinger 5K in a safe manner for our participants, staff, volunteers and spectators. The addition of open food throughout the course at each of the challenges is also an additional risk of exposure and area of concern during these uncertain times. With Wisconsin recently experiencing an increase in cases, we feel it would be irresponsible of us to proceed with this event in 2020. As we have all witnessed, these guidelines and recommendations are continually evolving and the future is still so unclear. With this, we are deeply saddened to be announcing the cancellation of The Humdinger 5K.
As such, participants will be given the option to defer their race entry to The Humdinger 5K 2021 or donate your registration fee. Please make selection below. Deadline to make a selection is August 4, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
This was not the news we wanted to share with you all but we appreciate the continued support of all our participants, volunteers, and staff!
Additional race information can be found at https://humdinger5k.com/.
COVID-19 Update: We are currently monitoring the COVID-19 situation and adhering to guidelines set by the Wisconsin Department of Public Health and CDC. At this time we are still proceeding with planning for this event. Should this event be cancelled due to the pandemic, your options will include: defer to 2021, transfer to another 2020 Race Day Events event, or donate your entry fee.
