Description

Lake Country Challenge - A New Tradition Starts Today!

Make Lake Country your Labor Day designation for a multi sport vacation.  Something for the entire family. Free kiddos run, 5K, 10K, 8 Mile & Half Marathon.

On line registration will stay open until race time. If you register after noon Wednesday, August 28th, please print your receipt and bring it to packet pickup.

SCHEDULE: 

FRIDAY AUGUST 30 - LAKE COUNTRY TWILIGHT 5K, 10K AND KIDDOS K
This is a super fast out and back course on the Lake Country Trail (paved).  The event starts right before sunset and serves as a perfect warm-up for the half marathon.  Bring the kids for a free kiddos 1K. They will receive a finisher medal. Sorry no shirts for the kiddos.

Eight Miler added for 2019
Runners start across from Lac la Belle and head north on the isthmus between Fowler Lake and Lac la Belle.  Turning west into the Village of Lac la Belle, the course hugs the lake before heading into the country side.  The course returns to the Village of Lac la Belle again hugging the western side of the lake.  Once runners reach Wisconsin Ave, it is a fast and flat sprint to the finish at City Beach on the lake.

All 8 milers and half finishers receive a custom finisher medal.

Awards

Overall Male & Female will receive plaques & flowers.Image

Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive a custom medal. Eight miler and half marathon finishers receive a custom finisher medal.

Average Joe & Jane Awards
At all Silver Circle Sports Events 5K, we will award the Average Joe & Jane award.  The award goes to the male and female that finish exactly in the middle of their division will received receive a super sexy Average Joe / Average Jane shirt & flowers.

Tshirts

Everyone who is registered by noon Wednesday August 21st will be guaranteed a custom dry wick gender specific shirt.  After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About tshirts.
