Introducing OconoWattaWoc, a brand-new 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon run/walk/ruck on the Interurban Recreation Trail connecting Oconomowoc and Watertown.
Yes, we made up the name. No, we are not apologizing.
The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon are perfect for runners, walkers, ruckers, families, first-timers, seasoned racers, and anyone who enjoys fresh pavement, questionable event names, and the phrase “old trolley line” more than they probably should.
Come run the trail. Walk the trail. Ruck the trail. Pronounce the name however you want.
OconoWattaWoc: Two towns. One trail. Too many syllables.

You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Picking up packets for more than a couple of people? Help us help you—and keep packet pickup from turning into a scavenger hunt.
Please bring one of the following:
- All participant QR codes printed on one sheet of paper
- A list of each participant’s information on one sheet of paper:
- Last name
- First name
- T-shirt size
This will make pickup faster and make your life much easier when distributing everything to your team.

Course Information
The OconoWattaWoc course takes place on the paved, off-road Interurban Trail, built along an old trolley line between Oconomowoc & Watertown.
This very flat, scenic course is ideal for runners, walkers, and ruckers of all abilities. Participants will enjoy a smooth, clearly marked route route through the countryside, with tree-lined sections, marshy views, and a crossing over the Rock River.
There is no traffic, no giant hills, and no need to question your life choices until at least mile two. The course is flat, friendly, scenic, and shockingly reasonable for something with this many syllables in the name.
Participants should stay alert at road crossings, follow course signage, obey volunteer and marshal instructions, and share the trail with other users.

Walkers Welcome
Walkers and families are welcome to participate! We ask that all walkers stay to the right of the path so runners can pass on the left.
T-shirts
Shirts are cotton. Participants registered by noon on October 16 are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Average Joe & Jane Awards
The Average Joe & Jane Awards are back for the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series 5K Runs and are presented to the male and female runner who finished in the exact middle of all runners. Winners will receive a t-shirt and custom medal, must be present to win!
Finisher Woodles & Awards
🏆 Overall Awards
The top overall male and female runners in each distance will receive a custom award provided by our partner, Ridgeway Woodworks.
🥇 Age Group Awards
The top 3 male and female finishers in 5-year age groups will receive a custom woodle. Age groups start at 0-14, then continue in 5-year increments.
🎉 Finisher Woodles
Every participant will receive a woodle crafted by Ridgeway Woodworks as a special keepsake!

How to Transfer, Defer, Change Shirt Size, or Change Distances
Follow these steps to make changes to your race registration:
- Go to RunSignUp.com and log in to your account.
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you wish to modify.
- Click on "Manage Registration".
- Choose from the available options in the menu, including:
- Transfers (to another participant or race)
- Change Shirt Size
- Modify Team
- Change Distances
- Resend Confirmation/QR Code
- Deferrals

Aid Stations
There will be 2 aid stations on course that participants will pass twice. All aid stations will have water.

Weather / Refund Policy
Refunds are not permitted for any reason.
The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events has a NO REFUND policy.
Walkers & Ruckers Welcome
Please select your desired division when registering and review the posted course closure time to make sure you can finish before the course closes.
The Walk and Ruck divisions are timed but non-competitive. There are no age group awards for Walk or Ruck divisions, but every registered finisher will still receive an OconoWattaWoc finisher woodle.
