1/2 Marathon - Early Start
Information
We know you worked hard all year training and racing, so what's one more distance event to a pro like you? Don't hang up your running shoes and head into hibernation mode quite yet. Come join us for one last chance at a 2024 PR! The Last Call 5K, 10K, and 1/2 Marathon is the perfect opportunity for any runner to end the year on top. The race is on the paved Glacial Drumlin Trail and it's super fast. The Last Call 5K, 10K, and 1/2 Marathon is part of the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series.

Parking
Parking is limited at the E.B. Shurts Building parking lot, but there is plenty of street parking within a short walking distance of the building.
Course
The course is flat and fast on the Fox River Trail and Glacial Drumlin Trail. All runners will start at the E.B. Shurts Building in Waukesha, 5K and 10K runners will head west on the Fox River Trail to the turnaround point at Sunset Dr. Runners will head back along the Fox River Trail to the Fox River Trail and Glacial Drumlin Trail intersection. 5K runners will continue straight to the finish. 10K runners will turn around and head back to the Sunet Dr. turnaround. 1/2 Marathon runners will turn onto the Glacial Drumlin Trail and head to the turnaround point just before Mac Arthur Rd. Runners will then head back along the Glacial Drumlin Trail to the Fox River Trail and follow that to the Sunset Dr. turnaround point. Half runners will then head back to the Glacial Drumlin Trail. Aid Stations
There are four aid stations on the course (see course map). Aid stations are located at the following distances from the start/finish line: 1.25, 3, 4.4, and 6 miles. All runners, regardless of distance will pass corresponding aid stations on the way out and once again on the way back after the turnaround points. Aid stations will have water, sports drink, and energy gels.
T-Shirts
Everyone who is registered by noon Friday, November 15 will be guaranteed a custom gender specific dry-wick T-shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About T-shirts.

You do not need to print it, but we will need to scan the QR code on the email receipt, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Picking up more than one packet
If you are picking up for more than a couple people, please do the following:
1. Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper OR
2. Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (last name, first name, t-shirt).
That will make your life a whole lot easier when you go to hand out the info to your team.
Hot Chocolate Bar!
It's back for the 2024-25 Chilly Willy Series Races -- Our famous hot chocolate bar!!!
Meet your friends after the race for a quick warm up at our hot chocolate bar. Complete with a huge selection of the tastiest treats, you'll find all you need to make a great cup of hot Chocolate after a cold run. You'll find our hot chocolate bar at all of our Chilly Willy Series runs. We'll also typically announce awards after the race over a nice cup of hot chocolate, so its definitely the place to be after the race!
Awards
Your race time and age group result are available online after you cross the finish line - select RESULTS from the menu above. All runners will receive a finisher woodle from Ridgeway Woodworks and the top 3 male & female finishers in 5-year age groups will receive a custom woodle. An awards ceremony will take place at the race. Awards can also be picked up after the race at Silver Circle's Global Headquarters in Oconomowoc, WI.
Your age is based on the date of the last event in the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series.
Average Joe & Jane Awards
The Average Joe & Jane Awards are back for the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series 5K Runs and are presented to the male and female runner who finished in the exact middle of all runners. Winners will receive a t-shirt and custom medal, must be present to win!
SCSE Wants To Save You Money

Volunteers
We need volunteers for everything from aid station support to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. Timing
The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line.
Walkers Welcome
Walkers and families are welcome to participate! We ask that all walkers stay to the right of the road so runners can pass on the left.
Race Insurance
Insurance is available for almost all of our events. The insurance is offered through a third party.

Silver Circle Foundation, Inc 501(c)3 is dedicated to supporting the needs of our firefighters, police officers, veterans, and troops serving overseas through charitable giving, care packages, and fundraising.
Weather / Refund Policy
Refunds are not permitted for any reason.
The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events has a NO REFUND policy.
How to transfer, defer, change shirt sizes and change distances
- Login into RunSignUp.com
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
- Select "Manage Registration".
- All of your options will be listed in the menu.
- *Deferrals must be completed 10 days prior to event.
