The Carolina Beach Double Sprint is back!
Same format - new location
We're excited to bring back the highly popular double sprint format - following a one-year hiatus.
For people unfamiliar with this format, here's how the race goes:
Participants begin with a 500 meter swim, transition to a 1.5 mile run, then ride 18.5 miles on the bike, do another 1.5 mile run, and finish with a 500 meter swim.
Set Up Events debuted this format in Kure Beach in 1997. The race moved to Carolina Beach in 2013 and now it's new home is White Lake.
