Each organization brings hope, resources, and love to those who need it most. Learn more about their vital work below, and consider making a donation to help them continue their missions.
For over six decades, The Arc of Moore County has been a pillar of advocacy and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Established in 1960 by parents seeking better futures for their children, The Arc has been instrumental in launching essential community programs—from special education classrooms to vocational training and inclusive recreational activities. Today, The Arc continues to champion choice, dignity, and inclusion, working at local, state, and national levels to secure opportunities for people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and thrive in their communities. Your support helps The Arc sustain and expand these life-changing programs for those who rely on them most.
Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills
The Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills is a safe haven and launching pad for youth in our community, serving children ages 5 to 18 with programs that build character, foster academic achievement, and promote healthy lifestyles. Open daily after school and all day in the summer, the Club provides a structured, nurturing environment during the hours when kids are most vulnerable to negative influences. Their trained and caring staff deliver proven programs in leadership, education, the arts, sports, and wellness—giving every child the chance to realize their full potential as responsible, productive, and caring citizens. Your contribution helps keep the doors open and the programs running for hundreds of local youth.
Caring Hearts for Canines is on a mission to save the lives of unwanted and abandoned dogs in our region. Operating in one of the states with the highest euthanasia rates, this passionate nonprofit works tirelessly to rescue dogs, provide necessary medical care, and match them with loving forever homes. Beyond rescue, Caring Hearts is committed to breaking the cycle of pet overpopulation through public education, spay/neuter advocacy, and community outreach. Fueled by a growing network of volunteers and donors, they give dogs a second chance at life—and love. Every donation helps fund their rescue operations, medical treatments, and adoption efforts.
