Run S'more 24

August 14 - 15, 2027
Nashotah, WI 53058 US

Run S’more 24 Is More Than a Race 🔥

Run S’more 24 is 24 hours of trail running, camping, bonfires, headlamps, coffee, teamwork, and questionable decisions made after midnight.

This is your weekend.

Run solo. Build a relay team. Chase a big mileage goal. Run one loop. Run through the night. Take a nap. Eat a s’more. Cheer for strangers. Make the event your own.

After a few years away, Run S’more 24 returns to Nashotah Park in 2027.

Run as much as you want. Run as little as you want. Just Run S’more.

What Makes Run S’more Different? 🌲

  • A beautiful approximately 3-mile trail loop
  • 24 hours to run, walk, relay, camp, and explore
  • Camping next to the course
  • Solo and relay options
  • Night running with headlamps and glowing trail energy
  • Aid station support throughout the event
  • Bonfires, coffee, s’mores, and a full weekend atmosphere
  • A course that works for first-time ultrarunners and experienced trail runners

This is not just an ultra. It is not just a relay.

It is a trail-running campout with a race attached.

The Course

The course winds through the woods and around Nashotah Park, with groomed surfaces, crushed wood chips, and enough hills to remind you that this is a trail event.

The approximately 3-mile loop is challenging, approachable, and easy for teammates and spectators to follow.

You will pass the aid station approximately twice each lap, near mile 1 and mile 2.75.

Bring the nutrition that works for you. We’ll provide water, sports drink, encouragement, and enough coffee to keep the overnight crew questioning their life choices productively.

Choose Your Challenge 🏃

You decide what success looks like.

  • Run one loop
  • Complete a 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, 50K, or 50-mile goal
  • Chase 100 miles
  • Walk or ruck the course
  • Build a relay team
  • Run through the night
  • Go farther than you ever have before

Your goal is your goal. Change it if you need to. Take a break if you need to. Celebrate every lap.

Camping ⛺

Camping is one of the best parts of Run S’more 24.

Campsites are located next to the course, allowing you to cheer, refuel, nap, swap runners, and get back into the action without missing a thing.

Camping is coordinated directly through Waukesha County Parks and is not included with race registration. You will reserve your own campsite for each night you plan to stay.

Vehicles may drop off camping equipment before the event but must be moved before the race begins.

Personal grills are not permitted in the camping area. Permanent park grills are available near the pavilion.

Relay Teams

Relay teams have one athlete on the course at a time.

Exchange every lap, every hour, every few hours, or whenever your teammate returns looking like they have made some personal discoveries in the woods.

Your strategy is completely up to your team.

Teams are encouraged to create a campsite home base with chairs, food, lights, signs, blankets, and whatever else makes your team feel organized.

Or at least look organized from a distance.

Running at Night 🌙

Run S’more 24 continues after dark—and that is when the trail gets interesting.

Headlamps move through the woods, campsites glow around the course, and runners begin making questionable decisions about sleep, snacks, and “just one more lap.”

From dusk until dawn, every athlete must wear:

  • A headlamp or running light
  • A safety vest with red blinking lights on the front and back

Reflective clothing is encouraged but does not replace the required safety vest. Check your batteries before the race and consider bringing a backup light.

Relay teams are responsible for making sure every team member is properly equipped.

Athletes without the required safety gear may be removed from the course.

Being difficult to see is a terrible relay strategy.

Ready to Run S’more? 🔥

This is more than a race you show up for, run, and leave behind.

It is a weekend in the woods. It is teammates cheering from a campsite. It is headlamps moving through the trees after dark. It is coffee at an unreasonable hour, bonfires, s’mores, tired legs, big goals, and stories you will still be telling long after the course closes.

Bring your shoes. Bring your camping gear. Bring your people. Bring a headlamp.

Bring the goal you want to chase—and the sense of humor you will need when that goal starts fighting back.

Run solo. Build a relay team. Run one loop or keep going until sunrise. However you choose to participate, make the weekend yours.

Run as much as you want. Run as little as you want. Just Run S’more.
